Diagnostics and maintenance

  1. Open a browser and navigate to the IP address of your Icon. NOTE: This can be found on your Phone HD by tapping Start > System.
  2. Scroll down to the Diagnostics and Maintenance section and set the following:
  3. Generate & Download Diagnostics Report Support personnel might request that you capture a diagnostic report from your system to identify the cause of a problem with your system.
    Download Diagnostics Report Downloads the previously generated diagnostics report
    Start Packet Capture Captures and downloads the network communications log (.pcap file). The packet capture will run for up to 3 minutes to capture sufficient information, then download the file.  
    System Reboot Causes the system to reboot.
    Reset System to Factory Settings This action removes your current settings, including your entries in Favorites.

    The system automatically reboots and the admin password is reset to the default value (admin).

    NOTE: You can also reset the system by pressing the red reset button on the back of the Lifesize system for 10 to 15 seconds.
